The Future of Workspaces in the Post-Pandemic Era.
The
Future of Workspaces in the Post-Pandemic Era.
The
Covid-19 Pandemic has had its effect on the economy of the world. Inflation
soared up leading to a severe liquidity crunch for Real estate developers. The
Real Estate Market was deeply affected due to the pandemic and especially those
Real Estate firms such as Wework that would lease out their office spaces to
other companies as part of their business portfolio were particularly affected.
Video-conferencing became the norm So what happened to the office spaces? These
offices had to be shut down as the companies faced a tremendous lockdown and
could not function as efficiently as before unless the lockdown restrictions
were eased. Eventually, when the covid pandemic’s impact got reduced, firms and
corporation imposed a 50% employee reduction capacity in their office
workspaces. A lot has changed since the Pandemic. The good old days where the
office spaces buzzed with corporate activity, telephones ringing, employees
waiting in buffet lines in office cafeterias etc. was all brought to a
standstill because of the pandemic.
Offering flexible offices workspaces has become the challenge for
realtors. The pandemic has delayed project completion timelines, reduced the
demand for office workspaces and softened rentals. During the pre-covid era,
the workplace shifted from a binary space where the choice was working at a
desk or in meeting room, to an open plan desking environment interspersed with
the occasional sofa. The paradigm shift from working in an office to work from
home is now mandatory. JLL, a commercial real estate services company, has
stated that 30 % of all commercial workspaces will regain flexibility by 2030.
What we
plan to offer for you post-pandemic: Different designs workspaces that are more
cost-efficient but more office friendly. From the entrance lobby to main office
workspace safety protocols; we offer a
far better office lifestyle than pre-pandemic era. Unique office space designs
that not are not only attractive for the CEO and the senior management
employers but also for the employees. We have collaborated with Wework and
decided to restructure our workspace in the Cubicle workspace as it not only
offers privacy but also a sense of ownership to our employees. We are currently
offering a 300 sq feet of commercial workspace for your offices. Cubicle layout
also promotes equality for employees and promotes promotion and cuts out
distraction. This type of layout increases the workspace within in a large
area. Last but not the least, now that the pandemic has indirectly promoted a
sense of social distancing for everyone, Cubicle layout type of workspace will
ensure a milder sense of social distancing in the workspace. A special larger
cubicle for the CXO and a large meeting room designed in a cubicle shape for
the purpose of team meetings with the CXO, brainstorming, reviewing the sales
charts etc. are very useful for a cubicle layout . We are also offering the
traditional ‘Open Office’ layout. Typically used by big growing organizations
this type of flexible workspace guarantees enhanced communication and faster
collaboration in the workspace. This type of layout describes a single table
shared by employees with low to partition at all. This type of layout ensures
enhanced teamwork and paces up the speed of an employee team to accomplish
their goals. Last but not the least, We can also offer a Hybrid layout for your
employees. Hybrid, as the name suggests, is a mix blend of various office
workspace layouts to create one singular versatile office space. For example, a
blend of Open-Office Layout along with Cubicle Layout is super-creative in
making an ideal workspace setup for your employees-some who prefer a workspace
with a privacy setting and for a group of employees who believe in the power of
teamwork in order accomplish their corporate goals faster. These Synergies are
fundamental towards greater productivity and enhanced performance.
The scope
of workspace has shifted from working in an office to working at home in the comfort
of an employees personal space thanks to the internet era. But post pandemic new
work culture is expected to happen since employees can come to an office only
2-3 times a week. Rest of the work can be carried out at home.
Video-conferencing will be the new office norm and mandatory for employees. If
employees come to office only 2-3 times a week then the additional office space
can be accommodated to be used for another purpose. So future office workspaces
designs will be taken to the next level
of workspace décor to give a new feel of professionalism for all your
employees.
