Terry Fox Poem

 Hold thee your Torch high

For I did the same

East Coast to West

I ran for miles

I am no Olympian,

I am no Lou Marsh

Yet I ran from the East to West.

To help in finding a cure for Cancer

My friend, it is dreadful to have Cancer,

I know one day Cancer will end,

We have to go on and on,

Till we find the answer

I watch from above

As Millions of kids take up my cause.

And run together sharing my goal,

To stop without a pause.

As my little friends run for miles in the race,

As I watch from above it brings a smile to my face.
