The Playstation 5- Sony’s latest gadget launch has hit the market. This also means the porting of the

earlier PS4 games into the PS5.

With the recent release of the much awaited The Last of Us Part 2 in June 2020, Naughty Dog has

once again lived itself up to the expectations of fans. The Last of Us Part 2 has improved drastically in

terms of graphics, game play and storyline. Improvements from its predecessor, The Last of Us

(Remastered) the game has much to offer in terms of a long and lengthy storyline.

Naughty Dog’s extremely popular ongoing action-packed Uncharted series, has delighted fans with

something new to offer. The series always takes the protagonist Nathan Drake and his friends to

places world over in a treasure hunting endeavour and also strange puzzles to be deciphered. The

game also thrills players with combat with a wide range of weapons that includes the use of firearms

as well as unarmed combat. Uncharted series takes players on a globe-trotting treasure hunt

adventure. But it seems with the final instalment, Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End and also its spinoff

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Naughty Dog seems to have concluded the Uncharted story that

involved the charismatic protagonist, Nathan Drake. But that doesn’t rule out the possibility of the

series continuing with different characters as portrayed in Lost Legacy; wherein a female protagonist

was given autonomy over the game as the main protagonist. Also Naughty Dog has not given any

official word about the closure of the Uncharted series.

Naughty Dog however, started work on the The Last of Us Part 2 immediately after the release of its

predecessor, The Last of Us Part 1. So one can speculate that the studio might have already started

working on the 3 rd instalment in the series.

Also, as seen in the ending of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End its highly speculated among fans that

Nathan’s daughter Cassie, will be the future protagonist of the Uncharted series.

So whether it will be Uncharted 5 or The Last of Us Part 3, what exactly does Naughty Dog have

under its sleeve for its PS5 debut?
